ARPU calculator FAQ
How do you calculate ARPU?
Divide revenue by users for the same period. $12,000 of monthly revenue from 8,000 users is an ARPU of $1.50.
Which users count in ARPU?
Everyone who could have paid in the period, not only the ones who did. Use active users for a calendar period, or installs when you measure a cohort, and keep the same definition every time.
What is the difference between gross and net ARPU?
Gross ARPU uses what customers paid. Net ARPU uses what is left after the store fee of 15% or 30%. To project revenue from installs and conversion, use the app revenue calculator.
